    Goodix Fingerprint reader usually will not recognize fingerprint stored

    I have a ASUS ROG14 and the Goodix Fingerprint read rarely works as it should. I have to restore fingerprints over and over and then often it will not even try to read. It just says I must you, much use a pin.

    Maybe this technology is not developed properly to be used on Microsoft? But for me I can't get it to perform in a reliable manner. Any ideas?

    Goodix Fingerprint SPI Device issue

    The culprit for me is Windows security update KB5005565 which was installed by MS back on 9/14/21. Ever since the problem persists. If I remove this update the Goodix fingerprint starts working again on my LG Gram.

    My PIN and fingerprint recognition are not working after an update.

    My PIN and fingerprint recognition are not working after an update. The computer won't let me set them up or amend them. Downloaded fingerprint drivers but no joy. Any suggestions how to get them back?
