    problem uninstalling google chrome

    Hi,

Since you already uninstalled Google Chrome using the Programs and Features, Google notifications may still be running in the background processes. We suggest that you follow these steps on how to end the Google Chrome process:

    • On your keyboard, press Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
    • Select Task Manager.
    • Under Processes, locate Google Notifications or Google Chrome.
    • Right click on them and select End Task.
    • Double check under Programs and Features if Google Chrome is completely gone.

Let us know if these steps worked.

Missing Google Chrome system notification icon.

    Hello,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

Please answer these questions for us:

    1. Was there any changes made on the computer prior to the issue?
    2. Are you able to see other notification icons?
    3. Have you tested the issue on a different user account?
Please try this step and let us know:

As you have already tried enabling the settings in Google Chrome and Windows 10, I would suggest you to create a new user account by following the

    link
    and test the issue.

Note- The notification icon will be missing if you access the Google Chrome in Incognito mode. Please access the browser in normal mode.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

  4. Google Chrome is not showing up in my notifications settings.

I am not getting any Google Meet notifications in Google Chrome.

    Hi

    Welcome to Microsoft community.

I understand that you're experiencing issues with Google Meet notifications in Google Chrome.

Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Clear browser cache: Go to Chrome Settings > Privacy and Security > Clear browsing data. Make sure to select "Cached images and files" and click on "Clear data". Restart Chrome and check if the issue persists.

Disclaimer: Your browser automatically saves temporary internet files to help pages load faster. Clearing this cache will sometimes fix website issues. Please back up all your personal files first, such as Favorites, to ensure you do not lose data.
    2. Disable extensions: Some browser extensions can interfere with notifications. Try disabling any extensions you have installed and see if that resolves the issue.
    3. Check Chrome notifications settings: Open Chrome Settings > Privacy and Security > Site Settings > Notifications. Make sure that notifications for Google Meet are not blocked. You can also try toggling the "Ask before sending" option to see if it makes a difference.
    4. Check Meet notifications settings: Open Google Meet, click on the three-dot menu in the bottom right corner, and select "Settings". Make sure that the "Notifications" option is enabled and configured to your preferences.
    5. Update Chrome: Ensure that you are using the latest version of Google Chrome. Go to Chrome Settings > About Chrome to check for updates and install any available updates.
If none of these steps solve the problem, you may consider reinstalling Google Chrome or contacting Google support for further assistance.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance. Thank you.

    Best regards
