Google chrome tabs no longer maximizing when dragged.

So when I used to drag individual chrome tabs between my monitors and such, they would automatically maximize again wherever I dropped them. Now for whatever reason, when I do this the tabs stay small and I have to either click the maximize button or drag their window to the top of my screen to snap them to full. I have no idea what changed but this is super annoying as I drag tabs around quite often. Does anyone know how to change it back?

    :)

  2. How to move a tab between two maximized Google Chrome windows

This isn't much better, but it does technically avoid un-maximizing any windows.

Assuming you currently have two maximized Chrome windows, we'll call them window A and window B:

    1. Drag the tab in question off of the tab bar of window A, then release; it will become the only tab in a new window C.
    2. Alt-Tab over to window B.
    3. Alt-Tab back to window C.
    4. Drag the sole tab of window C off of the tab bar (window C will cease to exist, having no remaining tabs), then drop it onto the tab bar of the thus-revealed window B.

    problem uninstalling google chrome

    Hi,

Since you already uninstalled Google Chrome using the Programs and Features, Google notifications may still be running in the background processes. We suggest that you follow these steps on how to end the Google Chrome process:

    • On your keyboard, press Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
    • Select Task Manager.
    • Under Processes, locate Google Notifications or Google Chrome.
    • Right click on them and select End Task.
    • Double check under Programs and Features if Google Chrome is completely gone.

Let us know if these steps worked.

Clicking on a Tab in Google Chrome Takes Longer than What I Expected

    From tab-to-tab.

Clicking on a tab in Google Chrome takes longer than what I expected.

I am still clicking on a tab in Google Chrome, and it still takes longer than what I expected.

I use Google Chrome (v96.0.4664.110 (Official Build) (64-bit)).
