    Family Safety Not Blocking Websites on Google Chrome

    Family safety has suddenly stopped blocking any website on the blocked list when using Google Chrome. It still blocks them on Microsoft Edge but Edge additionally blocks Google websites such as Gmail and Google Docs even though they are on the allowed list.

    I have tried removing and adding back the account but it did not help. Any advice on fixing this issue will be much appreciated.

    Hi,

    Do the ad-blocking extensions in Google Chrome, still just hide the ads instead of preventing them from downloading?

    I heard that Chrome can't prevent the ads from getting downloaded, but that is a long time back now.

    You probably can't block this pop-up without, as an unwanted side effect, blocking content that you do want to see.

    Not sure how long this lasts, but I've noticed that I don't see the pop-up on every visit so long as I don't delete cookies.
