Windows 10: Google Photos-took photos off my phone and added them to the app

Hi, i need urgent help please. I have an Samsung A53, unfortunately Google Photos removed photos and videos from my phone and uploaded them to my google photos app. I have recently purchased a SD card with 128GB and would now like to install these photos back onto my phone. Is there any straight forward way i can do this please? All these photos are of my children and their milestones. i desperately don't want to lose them. Thank you!

Google photos

The photos are not there. I have the google photos app on my phone but apparently it will not backup photos that were sent to me in a text. Any other suggestions?

Assuming you have the Google Photos app on your phone {if not get it here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.photos&hl=en}}
Go to settings in the app and make sure "back up and sync" is enabled.

You can then view/edit the pics on your phone and the web Google Photos

 

Duplicate Google Photos

I downloaded Google Photos to my desktop and ran DupeGuru. This found hundreds of duplicates but I don't know if its safe to delete them as I have most of my Google Photos added to albums. The albums don't show up on Google Drive/Photos.
If I delete the duplicates, will it delete the photos from my albums too?
When I look at Photos on my phone, it says that deleting a photo will delete it from its album too.
