Windows 10: Google Pixel 4a not recognized by Windows 11?

As you can see in my screenshot, no files associated with my phone appear when my phone is connected to my Surface Pro 8. Both devices are fully updated. What I want to do is move the music files from my phone to my PC. That's all. What do I need to do? I connected the devices to each other via a USB C to USB C cord.

Kindly check and try the steps below and hopefully it works out.

Method 1:

- From your Pixel device open Settings and go to Storage

- Tap the more icon in the top right corner and choose USB computer connection

- From the list of options select Media device (MTP)

- Connect your Android device to your computer and it should be recognized

Method 2:

- Press Windows Key + X and choose Device Manager

- Find your Pixel device and then right click on it and choose Update Driver Software

- Click on Browse my computer for driver software

- Click on Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer

- From the list choose MTP USB Device and click Next

- After the driver has been installed, check if your Pixel is now recognized

- Download and install Media Feature Pack for N and KN versions of Windows 10 from the link below

Google Pixel 5 no longer recognized with version 20H2, Build 19042.867

I'd been using my Google Pixel 5 on two Windows 10 laptops with no issues. One of my laptops just updated to Windows version 20H2, Build 19042.867. And now, my Google Pixel 5 is no longer recognized for file transfer. Normally, I'd select USB-File Transfer on the Pixel 5 and then it would appear in Windows Explorer as a device node. Windows 10 no longer does this. I don't see any unrecognized devices in my device list.

I double-checked on my other Windows 10 laptop that has not yet updated. It still sees the Pixel 5 just fine. It appears the huge 20H2 update has invalidated the Google Pixel device drivers somehow. Is there some way to correct this or am I forced to wait for a future update that fixes this problem? Thanks.
