    Google Play not working on Windows 10 Browsers


    Hi,


    Over the last few weeks I've had issues with using the Google Play website on Windows 10 to remotely download apps to my Android devices.


    When I click on the green "Installed" button it should show me a choice of Android devices to install the app to, however I just get a spinning circle and the screen goes opaque.


    This happens on Edge and Chrome on Windows 10.....


    I have asked Google who say it is a Microsoft issue, and Microsoft haven't got a clue...

    Google Plans a Web-browser, To be called Google Chrome

    If googles browser is going to be anything like their search engine is getting No Thanks. I can't even use google.com basic setup without getting popup suggestions while I'm typing what I want to search. Google was nice because it was basic, simple, easy, worked.

    Thank you for your response with the current update on the issue.

    As suggested in the previous post, I recommend you to first uninstall the google chrome browser from the computer.

    After that try to download the google chrome browser software from the google website. Then try to reinstall google chrome browser software in compatible mode where you will install the software in previous version of Windows.

    I suggest you to follow the steps provided in the previous post to reinstall the google chrome browser.

    How to fix no sound in some video & audio files played in Google Chrome and Opera browsers?

    Steps that fixed my issue:

    • Open Creative Audio Control Panel
    • In Speaker Configuration section,
      change 7.1 Speakers to 2/2.1 Speakers.

    This immediately fixed my issue and I did not even need to reboot. All the previous video and audio files I was having an issue with play fine now in Google Chrome & Opera browser.

    Reading this Reddit post helped me solve my problem.
