    Google starting minimized


    Using Windows 11 here.Whenever I start Google, it starts minimized for some reason. I've tried changing the properties from 'Run - Normal window' to 'Run - Maximized' and yet nothing changes. Is there something I can do for this? Thanks.

    How to actually start program minimized in Windows 10?

    Steps i tried to make program (for example: Thunderbird) to load on startup, but minimized:

    1. Placed shortcut under: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
    2. In a shortcut properties i've checked "minimized"

    Rebooted windows, it does start, but MAXIMIZED! Can't make it minimized, just like on MacOS i could set it hidden.

    Task Manager on start-up and minimized to tray

    Confirmed on W10 2004 what you said - Task Manager starts minimized with an icon in the taskbar. If I click on the Task Manager taskbar icon, then minimize the Task Manager window, the taskbar icon goes away and Task Manager remains in the tray.
