Windows 10: Got a blue screen just from opening up my laptop, went to my dropbox folder, searched for a...

Hi. My laptop is an Acer Nitro 5 that was bought last September. For some reason, I literally just opened up my computer to look for a file that I saved in Dropbox, and upon opening that file, a blue screen popped out. Here's the Memory Dump File:https://www.mediafire.com/file/9522poqrb76mujd/MEMORY.DMP/fileAt the time of the blue screen, I didn't have any external hardware other than a Ugreen usb extension for USB 3.0, my mouse attached to that Ugreen usb extension, and a keyboard through bluetooth. The USB ports I have are all 3.0.

Laptop with broken screen How much?

I would like suggestions and look in local stores. I dont wanna buy a laptop from someone online. Sorry. But could be a good idea if you asked him about the performance on older games. Gonna make a list ofall laptops people suggest me.

Remove the screen for space purpose here its small desk and if the screen is opened it will hide my 22 inches lcd

 

Keep getting a blue screen with different error messages on my laptop

Blue Screens of Death are in general caused by driver issues, these applications that proport to keep your drivers up-to-date are not a great solution . . .

The nest time you get a Blue Screen, please follow these steps:

• Let the counter reach 100%
• Restart your laptop
• Open Windows File Explorer and navigate to C:\Windows\Mini Dumps
• Zip up the contents of that folder
• Upload the Zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox . . . etc.)
• Provide a link here to that zip file and we can have a look, in order to help you diagnose the root problem behind your BSOD's

 

Not searching my dropbox

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Community.

You may answer these questions to get more clarity on this issue:

• Do you have the Dropbox app installed on the problem PC?
  
• Did you make any changes to the problem PC?
  

If the app is installed, then to access your Dropbox folders, open up the File Explorer on the PC and you'll see the icon in the side bar on the left.

Try using the Search and Indexing troubleshooter to fix the problem. It makes sure that the Windows Search service is running, and checks to see whether you have the correct permissions to search all the directories on your computer.

• Go to Control Panel. In the search box, type troubleshooter, and then click Troubleshooting.
  
• Click View all, and then click Search and Indexing to run the tool.
  

You can also try to rebuild the index in the Dropbox to check if that helps.

Follow these steps:

• Click Start, type indexing and click on Indexing Options in search results.
  
• In the Indexing Options dialog, click Advanced. Under Troubleshooting section, click Rebuild.
  

Note that if Windows detects user activity in the system, indexing is slowed down drastically. After a couple of minutes of no user activity, indexing continues in full swing.
