I have tried installing some apps like Epic Games and Battlestate Games Launcher and they both try to find paths to my old path on my HDD. I have no idea how can the even remember these if I don't own it anymore. How can I change the paths so it tries install these new apps on my new hdd? Transferring everything from an old HDD to a new HDD

So I just bought a new 3 TB HDD and wanted to figure out what the best way to trasfer all the files (including my Windows 10 OS) onto the new drive. I might use the old one as a back up for important files but I want my new and bigger one to be my main
drive/ boot drive. Any suggestions are appreciated.

My old hdd is windows 10, but only has ~30gb left of storage and a broken sata cable receiver. Bought a 3TB hdd. Is there a way to transfer all the files and os system from the old to the new?

    unlock hdd

    Hi Johan,

    It is possible that your
    HDD was unreadable
causing the error message to appear. We recommend that you perform these troubleshooting steps and check if there are any changes:

    • Shutdown
      your
      PC.

    • Unhooked
      the
      HDD
      and
      turn on
      your
      PC.

    • Reconnect
      your
      HDD
      and
      restart
      your
      PC.

If the issue persists, we suggest that you contact your
    laptop/computer's manufacturer
    for further assistance.

Update us on how it goes.

    Regards.
