Windows 10: Got a new tv and want to use it as my monitor but nothing fits

My screen gets cut off. I changed the resolution to every option and none of them fit. How do I fix this

bought new computer cannot get the windows 10 display to fit my sharpe aqus tv I use as a monitor.............. my old computer with windows 10

I could go to aspect ratio the new computer win 10 I cant find aspect ratio so the screen does not fit side to side or top to bottom

There could be a difference in settings or drivers between your old and new Windows 10 computer. For example, the build of your old computer is different to your new one, or it could also be the monitor itself. Can you provide us the answers to these questions:

• What was the build of your old computer?
• What is the build of your new computer?
• Did you notice some changes on the settings of your computer aside from the aspect ratio?
• Have you tried to change the settings of your monitor?

No display on monitor when TV set as primary display

Issue solved

Removed DVI/HDMI cable from computer and monitor

Step 1: Check if the VGA monitor cable is defective.

1. Turn off computer
   
2. Connect the monitor VGA cable from the monitor to the VGA port on the computer
   
3. Turn on computer, VGA monitor cable is good.
   
   Step 2: Tun off computer
   

1. Connect HDMI Cable to HDMI port and TV
   
2. Turn on computer and TV, there is no monitor black screen
   
3. Click on the Windows logo, select the Settings icon , and then select
   
   System. Under Display there are two squares, labeled 1 and 2
   
   D Click on Advanced Display Settings:
   
   Display information: Display 1- Monitor Display 2 -TV
   
   E Right-click the Speakers icon in
   the taskbar, select Sound, click on Playback devices,
