got a Realtek bluetooth AV Remote Control Target Device Ive never seen before that won't fix itself even after uninstalling and resetting etc it goes away in airplane mode though. i'm at my wits end. I tried HP smartfriend to see if they could fix it but they flaked on me. I don't know but I think it's affecting other functions.

Have run through and within System Drivers are

Realtek Bluetooth A/V Remote Control Target

Realtek Bluetooth A/V Remote Control Controller Device Driver

Realtek Bluetooth Filter Driver

all are manual and stopped.

That's the only Realtek Bluetooth entries I can find. Other Realtek are audio/Lan

I'd like to ask few questions so I can isolate your concern properly.

• Do you have a different device? If yes, can you try to acess the remote control to the apps you've mentioned so we can check if the same isssue persists?
• Can you also test it to a smartphone?
• Do you have a different user account? Can you test if the same behavior occurs?
• Any recent hardware or software changes prior to this issue?

Meanwhile, I highly suggest that you ollow these steps:

Method 1: Run the Bluetooth troubleshooter. Open Settings> Troubleshoot> Bluetooth> Run the troubleshooter> Restart the computer.

Method 2: Update the Bluetooth driver.

1. In the search box on the taskbar, type Device Manager, select it from the list of results, and then expand Bluetooth in Device Manager.
2. Press and hold (or right-click) the Bluetooth radio, then select Update driver > Search automatically for updated driver software.
   
   

If Windows doesn't find a new driver, look for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions.

Method 3: Remove and pair the device again. In Windows 10, the status text for Bluetooth devices changed in Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices . Bluetooth
devices will only show as Connected when the device is actually in use (for example, a Bluetooth speaker that’s connected and has music playing over it). When the device isn’t being used, the status text will show as Paired.

If your Bluetooth device isn’t working, you can try removing the device and pairing it again. In Bluetooth settings, select the Bluetooth device that’s paired but not working > Remove device > Yes to
verify. After that, pair the device again. For more info about pairing devices, see Connect to Bluetooth devices.

 

Nokia Bluetooth Remote Control

Can someone suggest a Bluetooth remote control app that will work with a Nokia touch screen phone? I've tried Phone Remote Control with some success but its not fully touch screen compliant.
