Windows 10: Got a used computer

Hello,I got a used computer, and it runs windows 7 on it, but I want to upgrade to windows 10.I don't know if this is a legitimate copy of windows 7, and I'm wondering how to upgrade to windows 10.The computer is for my wife to use, for light gaming and office work.Any help is appreciated! Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
