Windows 10: Got error -214721914 trying to open images Win10

I don't know why but I was in explorer and opened a jpg file then tried to open a png and mouse turned into loading thingy and nothing happened until i closed the jpg which made the mentionned error appear. screenshot didn't want to upload"C:\Users\--\Downloads\71a975603a172aa4ee47b9e3645f6faf4b17245d.png File system error -2147219195."Opening a png and then another opens the photos app twice but a jpg then a png or a jpg then another jpg gives the error

[HELP]Image recovery issues

Guys i am trying to fix my cousins Asus Eee netbook. It has a backup image file that is partitioned on the hard drive but when I go to use it the app will run through a few steps and stop. It is running Vista . Any suggestions?

Have you tried performing the troubleshooting steps listed in the article given by
Robert Caw? It was posted above.

As a workaround, you may try these steps:

• Right-click the photo or video.
• You'll see a pop-up box, choose Open With.
• Then choose Paint or Photos to open an image.
  
  (There are also options to open videos when you click Open With.)
