I was getting BSOD before I changed my graphics card could it be my old card was dying and needed replacing? Then when I got the new one the graphics card drivers were buggy or the old graphics cards drivers were trying to attach to the new one.

In my opinion, if it installed correctly and runs well with no problems, leave it alone. If you start having problems, come back here and we'll try to help you.

One thing you should do is go to nvidia.com and download the latest driver for the 960.

    I install MSI Afterburner.

The reason I do this is becuase I prefer to modify the fan control of the graphics card to maximise cooling, to prolong the life of the card, but even if you don't want to modify anything, it provides useful infromation, such as the temperature of the card, your cpu, memory use and so on, so generally I find it a very useful utility. Your card may, however, have been packaged with a similar utility.

You may also like to install GeForce Experience from Nvidia. This is an application that tweaks settings for particular games and, most importantly, keeps your drivers up to date.
