Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

Thank you for your reply and clarification. I was thinking you were not receiving update notifications, and I apologize for the misunderstanding.



With the messaging/chat that is built into the phone itself, that is what I was talking about when I mentioned that there have been others experiencing the same. You're not the only one who has troubles with these features.



For both the application you are using (if it is the official Microsoft one) and the integrated messenger/chat function, I recommend you send the Microsoft Phone development team themselves official feedback (you can do this by going to Feedback on the bottom
of this page and also

voting for other suggestions on the official Windows Phone suggestions page to have this feature fixed).



Thanks for trying all of those troubleshooting steps. Sometimes, they do work.
