Windows 10: Got two windows 10 installed on two drives and now I want to uninstall the new one and use...

So yesterday my Alienware 17 R3 started telling me that no bootable devices were found. I tried everything Dell epsa showed all tests passed by the hardware, UEFI, Legacy, fixed date and time, corrected boot sequence and everything. So I decided I'll just reinstall windows. In the partition selection area, what I didn't realise is that my Local disk C:\ partition was missing and I ended up deleting my D:\ partition and installing windows on that.

It was still just one partition the first time windows came on but after a restart it's now showing

-"Local Disk (C" which was previously D:\ and it contains the new windows 10

-"OS(D" which was previously local disk C:\ and it contains my old windows 10. This drive also gets connected and disconnected automatically which might be what caused the whole problem. I'm thinking about reseating it

What I want to do is uninstall windows 10 from the now "Local Disk (C" and set the now "OS(D" as the booting disk. Any help is appreciated.

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
