Windows 10: Got windows 11 and autohide taskbar doesn't stay checked

I've got a 3 monitor setup to my graphic card one using display port 2 using HDMI not sure if that matters but everytime I check autohide taskbar it does nothing but keeps it there but now it's just blank I close the settings and it reverts to being a taskbar with my pinned apps and it's not hiding and I go into settings and the option is un ticked I would be able to ignore it but the worst part is it takes alot of space on all 3 monitors and it doesn't sit well it covers over the screen so if what I want to view is full screen and there's no scroll option i'm stuffed because it's covered by

chrome + taskbar autohide problem

So i set my taskbar autohide. whenever chrome is in fullscreen, when i hover around the corner, the taskbar wont appear. It works with other browsers....

 

Autohide Taskbar in Desktop Mode

Hi Niel,

In rare cases, you may be having an issue with Autohide Taskbar in desktop mode when you when you just recently did an upgrade on your PC. Autohide Taskbar Option might have got unchecked during the process. We would suggest you try the following steps to enable
Autohide taskbar and check if it makes any difference.

a. Right-click on the Taskbar.

b. Click on Properties.

c. Put a check mark next to ‘Auto-hide’ the taskbar.

d. Click on Apply and OK.

Update us with the result.

 

Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.
