Windows 10: Gothic 3 und Windows 10?

Hey,

after some self-experiments I have to ask for advice: I installed Gothic 3 via Steam again. I also installed the community patch 1.75. The game also starts and I can change all settings.

Only as soon as I start a new game and the loading bar is full, the game hangs up and thus does not go on. Does anyone have an idea?

I have also tried compatibility mode. From Windows XP to Windows 7, also under Administrator. Always the same problem.

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Gothic: Gothic I Breitbildkamera-Patch davied

So the problem is simple. I was messing up with Gothic I, installing community patches, mods etc. played through it, left it for a while and then decided to remove it. I am pretty sure none of the files are present on my hard drive, but in add or remove
programs menu I have "Gothic: Gothic I Breitbildkamera-Patch davied" listed with size of 182GB. Since it is nonsence (my system disk is 120GB) it bothers me. Not only my OCD, but the bar that shows how much space is consumed by my apps is scale to the largest
thing wich is this thing that is no longer even there. So I thought that it might be some bad registry entry, but I have no idea where to look for it to delete it. I trei to google the solution, but with no luck. Please help me solve this.

I also propose a improvement. Let us set the scale for the above mentiond bar. Since my problem is not really a problem, this improvement would solve it just fine.
