    gpedit disappeared


    I have been trying to install Forza Horizon 5 into my D: drive and I am having trouble installing it. Everything in my settings is set to that, but it will not install there. Eventually, I figured out that I could use gpedit. I typed gpedit in the search bar, and I see it. But I decided to try gpedit.msc. It opens up some sort of toolbox app, that wants to change something, and when I see that nothing happens, I type it in the search bar again. Nothing. I have seen multiple videos, and the one that seemed the best wouldn't even work. I tried to contact support, but the request broke. Sorry to

    Sorry for the delay in response

    What specific setting did you change in gpedit?

    Do you face the issue only with gpedit?

    We suggest you to run this command and check.

    • Press Win + X keys on the keyboard and select
      Command Prompt(Admin)
    • Type sfc /scannow
    • After the SFC scan, Type or copy, paste the command in the command prompt
      DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and hit Enter.
    • Restart the computer and check.

    Administrative Templates disappeared from gpedit

    So I added gpedit to my windows 10 home OS Version 1909 with no problems it worked perfectly and I did what I needed to do but recently ever since I updated to version 2004 the Administrative Templates have completely disappeared and if I click on any
    folder it says "MMC cannot initialize the snap in"

    so what is causing this and how can I fix this?

    Is there a way to completely uninstall gpedit off my PC so I can try to fresh install it

    apparently windows 10 version 2004 added some files to gpedit that I don't have so thats probably why its not working
