  1. GPO: "OneDrive: Move Known Folders based on User"

Hi!We want to move the known Windows folders for several of our users to OneDrive. We created a GPO and applied it to the OU in which the users are stored, but it is only applying the User Configuration part of the GPO. We have not reduced the default delegation and/or activation settings in the GPO.Our goal is to have the known folders only moved if a user is in a certain OU and member of a certain group. It is possible that users that should not have their known folders moved will share workstations with users that should be affected by the GPO. That is why we can't apply the GPO to the comp

  2. How can I deny access to the C: drive EXCEPT OneDrive known folders via GPO ?

I know how to hide and deny access to the C: drive. How can we allow our Win10 ENTERPRISE users to only save to the OneDrive known folders (Documents, Downloads, etc...) via GPO ?

  3. Update user shell folders registry keys with GPO

    Hello people,

My goal is to change the location of two user Shell Folders located under %USERPROFILE%\AppData with a GPO.

The keys in question are named Local AppData and AppData, which are located under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders.

I defined a create-GPO and a replace-GPO by selecting the specific registry keys inside the GPO management console, which is pretty straightforward.

Desired values for those keys would be the following.

    • Local AppData
      %USERPROFILE%\Documents\AppData\Local
    • AppData
      %USERPROFILE%\Documents\AppData\Roaming
After user login, the values are not being updated nor do the folders redirect to the desired location.

    • Server OS: Windows Server 2016 Standard
    • Client OS: Windows 10
    I appreciate any efforts.

    Thanks in advance.

    Have a nice one,

    Andreas
