    Display driver igfx stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

    I opened the event viewer when this happens, then I posted the error here. This happens often when I play a game. If you guys don't mind, please tell me how to fix this so it would never happen again?

    Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

    B(lack)SOD after closing GPU demanding applications and games

    I would like to suggest 2 more things if you don't mind,
    1. Seat the GPU in another slot, if possible, and see if that helps anything
    2. Use the GPU in another system, if possible, this is a step to determine that it is really the GPU and not multiple defective slots or something else from the system.

    Let's try to isolate the cause of this issue, we suggest that you clear your browsing data. Kindly follow the steps below:

    • Open Edge.
    • Click on the three dots icon on the upper-right part of the screen.
    • Click Settings.
    • Under Clear browsing data, click on Choose what to clear.
    • Click on Clear.

    If the issue persists, we suggest that you disable hardware acceleration and use software rendering.
    Here are the steps on how to enable software rendering:

    • Click Start.
    • On the search bar, type Internet Options, and click on
      Internet Options
      from the results.
    • Click on the Advanced tab.
    • Under Accelerated graphics, check Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering.
    • Restart your computer.
