Windows 10: gpu freezes my laptop

Hello i own a dell m4800 laptop for 2 years now and it was working finethis month i had a weird problem that happen while i was playing a game and the problem is that my laptop got frozen and it wouldn't let me do anything then i restarted the laptop and it kept on freezing after entering windows so after a few restarts it worked fine until i left the laptop for a while and it entered sleep mode i tried to wake up the laptop but it kept on black screen so i tried a few things like entering safe mode which and disabled some stuff and i ended up disabling the gpu and the laptop worked again but

@Maban - does GPU-Z fail the same way for you the way it does for me? I.e. total system freeze/lockup, requiring a hard reset?

@W1zzard - I will try the suggested steps later today, as I am not near that PC at the moment.
