Windows 10: GPU Graphics Problem

Hello, i have one really frustrating problem and i can't stand it anymore. I have AMD graphics card RX 570 and my computer is really lagging without use of official AMD GPU drivers so i install them and then i restart computer my computer freeze and after restart those AMD drivers are removed and replaced by some Pci Bus or something like that and i really can't run ANY videogame with these microsoft drivers. I have disabled the "automatically download manufacturers apps and icons" but it still happens. My PC practically can't work without these drivers but my windows keeps removing them aga

Hi,

Your computer makes a noise or beeps from your internal speaker because it failed to detect the graphics card. What we can suggest is for you to try cleaning your graphics card with a pencil eraser. Here are the steps below:

• Turn your computer off.
• Pull out your video/graphics card.
• Rubbed the cold contacts with soft pencil eraser.
• Connect your video/graphics card back to the computer.

Kindly note that this is just a temporary fix. If the case still continues, I suggest that you contact your graphics card's manufacturer.

according to laptop support page they do list an old downloadable driver for intel for windows 7 , weather this is related to there being several variants of that laptop or this laptop has switchable graphics i may just suggest you reset the bios and see if things change , if yes you may be able to apply step 2 , if not then apply step 4 and call it today , you are still better off being on the high performance gpu .

Out of curiosity can you take a snap shot from Settings > System > Display. Scroll down and click the “Graphics Settings” ?

In the Switchable Graphics menu, the Running Applications view will be displayed by default. This view lists recent and current running applications and their assigned Switchable Graphics mode.

Note! The default mode for most applications is predetermined by the operating system. Applications with specific GPU requirements show a Lock icon beside the application name and cannot be changed; these applications always run on the integrated GPU, Power Saving mode.

For applications that are not locked by the operating system, the following Switchable Graphics modes can be selected from the application drop-down menu:

• Power Saving - Selects the integrated GPU, which consumes less power but provides lower performance
  
  1. High Performance - Selects the discrete GPU, which consumes more power but provides better performance
     
  2. Based on Power Source - Selects the integrated GPU when running on battery and selects the discrete GPU when plugged into a power outlet
     

Select a desired mode for the application and the change will take effect the next time the application is loaded.

If the desired application is not available in this view, click on the Running Applications option and select Installed Profile Applications to view all applications detected by the graphics driver, as shown in the picture below.
