GPU GTX 960 Greenish-tinted screen, windows icons, taskbar, menus after Update.. Colors go back to normal when uninstalling nvidia driver Help please

Looking for solution/fix for the following:

After updating drivers for my GPU, Nvidia, Geoforce GTX 960, Windows 10-64bit, everything is fine with the monitor display. When I
restart the computer, the Windows menus, taskbars, icons... all have a greenish tint. I am a photographer, and this tint is quite evident in my photographs, in particular the black and white photos. I have done a clean install of drivers,
replaced display port cable, tried using newest & older drivers. I've noticed in the Device Mgr/display, that I have a red x on the driver, but this has not been work-stopping issue. Looking for steps to correct this issue, so that I do not have to reinstall
drivers for every photo work session that I begin.

Each of the available drivers, new-old for the Nvidia Geoforce GTX 960, is shown in the device manager /Display Adapter, once downloaded/installed, with a "red x" The Microsoft Basic Display Adapter, also is shown with the red x. A red x is also shown for
the IDE ATA/ATAP controllers, and the Microsoft Storage Controllers.

Again, rebooting, producing a greeenish-tint in Windows and applications is what I would like to resolve. Any other suggestions?

You mention you have a red X on your video driver, that indicates it is not correctly installed.

The current versions of video drivers, especially Nvidia drivers are causing problems

You should look on the web fro an older version of a driver for your Geoforce GTX 960, which should be more compatible with your system and should resolve this greening of your screen . . .
