    GPU Recommendation

    Hi All,

Long time and no talk. I am looking to get a new desktop and since its impossible to get a GPU at MSRP I just wanted to see your recommendations for a GPU

I was looking to get a RTX 3060ti but I see a lot of AMD products now and I was wondering how the AMD holds up. I am not a fanboy, I just want the best bang for my buck.

I currently am using a 3600x , 32 gigs of Ram with a 1070ti but I can't max out games... for example BFV.

Id like to get an Alienware model and I am leaning...

My GPU is heavily under performing, please help!

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    • What is the make and model of GPU?

    • Do you face this issue only with this game or all the game?
I suggest you to use the same GPU in different computer and check if the issue persist.

As you mentioned that you have overclocked the CPU, Microsoft does not recommend overclocking the CPU.

Reply with necessary information and I’ll be happy to help you further

    Thanks and Regards

I would like to suggest 2 more things if you don't mind,
    1. Seat the GPU in another slot, if possible, and see if that helps anything
    2. Use the GPU in another system, if possible, this is a step to determine that it is really the GPU and not multiple defective slots or something else from the system.

    Hi Michael

Open Device Manager (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)

    Expand the Display Adapters section

You should see your GPU listed, along with possibly an integrated graphics option

If that is no listed there:

Boot into BIOS (start your system, then on the manufacturers screen, repeatedly press the appropriate key (usually F2) to enter BIOS

Under System Information, you should find your GPU listed

If you still cannot find the GPU listing, what is the Make and exact Model No. of your PC - that will be printed on a sticker on the bottom casing . ..
