Windows 10: GPU Signal Cuts Out During Gameplay

Hello,During gameplay or even in game menus my Graphics card stops outputting any video with the monitor loosing signal, but Windows is still running. I know Windows is sill running because I can heat the games music and other music from the background of my computer; I can also shut tabs etcTo regain video output my computer requires a restart and will not output video to the monitor until it has been shut down and rebooted The event viewer has the error:Event 14, nvlddmkmThe description for EventID14 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. wi-fi signal is weak

This issue could have occurred due to these reasons:

• Incorrect network settings.
• Network adapter is not working properly.

I suggest you to try the steps listed here and check if it fixes the issue or else contact your ISP for weak signal.

Fix for black screen/no signal

Easy Fix for Black Screen/No Signal after Dedicated GPU Driver Install, OS Windows 10

The problem (at least in my case) was the Windows 10 default settings for my monitor/TV were way too high; above 3000 X 3000 and a scaling setting of 300% this
did work with the Basic Driver

Step 1: You need to reboot into your on board GPU or into safe mode

Step 2: Go to the search panel and type in Display Settings (Bottom left of screen) you will be given a list click on the top item which is Display Setting and it will take you where you can alter the setting

Step 3: Change to what better suits your monitor e.g. 1862 X 1048 or may be even lower at 100% (HD TV) You may need to uninstall the Dedicated GPU driver and reinstall it.

Do you think there might be a problem with the on board graphics and that's why its not letting the new GPU get a signal or am I talking BS? lol
