Windows 10: GPU Temperature not shown in new windows 10 2004 update

My driver model is WDDM 2.6 and Dedicated GPU is NVIDIA GeForce 940MX. I recently updated windows to new 2004 update but I can't see GPU temperature in Task Manager.

@tushar4544 you can undervolt the card. It will help lower the temperature and maintain boost.

Please note that the lowest Voltage possible all depends on the silicon quality of the GPU.

If the Voltage is set too low the benchmark will lock-up or just crash back to the desktop.

Click on the three bars to open the Voltage/Frequency curve editor. Click on a lower Voltage curve point and drag it upwards so that it equal to maximum boost frequency of the GPU, then click the "Apply button" on the skin.

Use the Superposition 1080p Extreme benchmark to test the new curve. The GPU frequency and temperature is shown in the top right corner when running the benchmark.

UNIGINE Benchmarks

Don't save the new custom curve to a profile till you are sure it is stable.
To save the new custom curve click on the small "Lock", click the "Save button", select a flashing profile number, click on the "Startup button" if you want the profile to automatically load at startup and finally click on the small Lock button again.











You can set the fan speed update period to 2000ms.

thnx for all this i dont understand it i dont want to risk my new gpu too and its fine till 1080p and temperature rises above 1080p resolution i made biggest mistake that i got this card i was about to get msi 1660 ti ventus *Sad
