    GPU usage 100% in any game or application


    Six months after the purchase laptop showed itself perfectly, but a week ago problem with the discrete began. By launching any game or application, the GPU loads under 100%. Here, I launch GTA San Andreas 2005 and after 5 minutes the discrete jumps under 100%. Moreover, it's the process of the game or application that consumes resources.

    100% CPU and GPU usage

    Everything was fine until yesterday. Today it started with 100% CPU and GPU usage in Apex Legends. Upon further checks, its happening in all the games - Rainbow 6, GTA V. I do have a very strong feeling that it has something to do with windows, as we all
    have seen 100% CPU usage bug in the past.

    Specifications:

    i5-8600k

    MSI 1060 6GB

    16GB RAM

    Thanks for the information. Ive already tried those suggestions above with no luck. i have the lastest drivers and updates. (i just double checked)

    windows shows no errors when checking the repair options.

    my diag/live data readers are showing 100% gpu usage when i go into a gaming screen.

    again this happened right after the home to pro upgrade.

    GPU 100% usage in games after windows 10 to 10 pro upgrade

    when i change my in game settings from 2k(20-30fps cap) to 1080 i get 60fps cap?

    load goes from 100% to 70%.

    keep in mind before the windows home to pro upgrade i was getting 2k resolution at 60% gpu usage.
