    Hello, I'm Sithum Kavinda.

    I'm using windows 10 home & 512 GB SSD. Device : Huawei matebook 13.

    Caches like below:

    When I copy files like above 5GB, transfer speed around 1GB/s in the beginning. Then the speed is decreased gradually.

    Like this:

    Sometimes speed goes 0 and freeze.


    I have done some research on this. It says this is a result of low cache memory.

    Can you please give me a solution guys...

    Hi John,

    We suggest that you try the troubleshooting steps below:

    • Open your External Hard Drive file in File Explorer.
    • Type the name of the file you want to search on the search box and click Enter.
    The file will show up in Search Results and you will be able to move it to the correct folder.

    External hard drive file transfer says "Items remaining: 0" while there are still GBs of files that haven't been transferred

    Hello,

    My Office 365 Personal subscription expired, so I just got finished with importing all of my OneDrive files to my external drive. Whenever I try to move those files to a different location in the drive, the file transfer eventually just says "Items remaining:
    0" while there are still 37 GBs of data that haven't been transferred. I know that sometimes it gradually adds files to the queue instead of it all being moved constantly, but how can I fix this?

    unable to transfer files to my external hard drive

    Hi, i have a toshiba canvio basics 1tb external hard drive and i have problems in transferring files from my pc to it. It's format is exfat. When i transfer files, it always freezes in 0% copying. When I tried to transfer files from hdd to pc, it work
    okay. I don't know what's the problem.
