Windows 10: Graphical failure in full screen apps

Hello everyone,


I am having a very unfortunate issue with my installation of windows. When My apps is in maximized mode there is a graphical error at the top of the windows which makes whatever is behind it clickable.


Has anyone seen this issue before?

Thank you for posting your reply. Apologize for the delay in response.

I suggest you to perform the methods provided below:

Method 1: Install the Graphic card driver in compatibility mode (if not tried already).

• Uninstall the driver software.
• Right click on the ‘Setup’ icon and click on properties.
• Under Compatibility tab, check the option for Run in Compatibility mode.
• Select Windows version from the drop down list after performing step.
• Click on Apply and then OK.
• Install the driver software and check if it helps.

Method 2: Run the App troubleshooter.

• Type “Troubleshooting” in the search box and press Enter.
• Click on ‘View All’ on the top left pane.
• Click on “Windows Store Apps” from the list and follow the on-screen prompts for troubleshooting.

Graphics failure

• Were there any recent software or hardware changes made to your system prior to the issues?
  
• No
• Were you trying to watch a video when you got the Video TDR Failure error?
• No

After initial glitches on installation machine has run perfectly for about 18 months.

Had similar initial glitches with my other machine. Lost all my programs/apps. Was really impressed. Have been running operating software since MS-DOS on 5.25 floppies. Have never seen anything as bad
as this. Contemplating reinstalling Win 7. Might try replacing video card but there doesn't seem to be any guarantee of that sorting the problem.
