Windows 10: Graphics Card Issue after Windows 10 1909 Update AMD Radeon HD 7560 M

I have a SONY VAIO E series laptop with Core i3 3230m and AMD Radeon HD 7560 M 1 GB GPU.

Till 1903 version of Windows 10 everything worked fine and I played CS:GO, and it ran well.

After 1909 update during restart, the system went into continuous restarting loop.

After I uninstall Graphics driver through safe mode and install Microsoft Basic Display Adapter drivers, the system would start. But this runs system without GPU and even watching videos utilizes 100% CPU.


I tried updating and installing all available version of drivers, even through the Radeon website and MSI and Intel driver assistant but every time the driver is installed the system crashes or requires restart and then keeps restarting continuously.



It only starts if I install Microsoft Basic Display Adapter, but the brightness control and night light function does not work, GPU is not detected and all burden is on CPU. It shares system RAM for Graphics processing.


I tried formatting the system but again it installs the latest updates during installation and the same thing happens.



If anybody has any solution then please inform.

AMD Radeon HD 3450

As per the device manufacturer’s support site, the graphics card is not designed to support Windows 10, the drivers for ATI Radeon HD 3450 graphics card are available only up to Windows 8, you can try with installing
AMD Catalyst software Suite for Windows 8/8.1 in compatibility
mode and see if it helps.

• Right click the applications installation file (exe), select
  Properties andgo toCompatibility
  Tab.
  
• Select the appropriate options from the list.
  
• Click Apply/OK.
  
• Right Click the file and select the
  Run as administrator option to install.
  

I also suggest to check in device manager if the PC has integrated graphics or get in touch with the device manufacturer to check the same. You can also get the complete device specifications by entering the System Service tag

AMD RADEON HD 7670 M IS NOT DETECTED

HELLO,

I HAVE DELL INSPIRON 15 3521 INTEL[R] CORE i3 3227U WITH INTEL HD GRAPHICS 4000 AND AMD RADEON HD 7670 M BUT NOW ONLY INTEL IS WORKING AMD IS NOT. I HAVE TRIED RESETTING MY PC AND REINSTALLED FRESH WINDOWS BUT AMD IS STILL NOT FOUND WHEN I RUN RADEON SOFTWARE
IT POPS UP WITH ERROR 173. MY LAPTOP WAS SHIPPED WITH WINDOWS 8.1 AND NOW I UPGRADED IT TO WINDOWS 10 PRO x64. PLS HELP WHAT CAN I DO TO BRING MY AMD RADEON BACK IN ACTION. EVEN I CANNOT SEE CATALYST CONTROL CENTER TOO. I CANNOT RUN GAMES SMOOTHELY WITHOUT
AMD. I EVEN TRIED DDU AND UNINSTALLED INTEL GRAPHICS AND INSTALLED AMD INSTEAD OF IT BUT NO USE AGAIN ERROR 173. SOMEONE PLS HELP TO FIX THIS PROBLEM.

 

Issues with Radeon 7400 M graphics in windows 10

Hi Praveen,

Thanks for the post. The problem seems to be from Microsoft . I have followed below steps

• I have downloaded the software Leshcat’s Catalyst 15.7 WHQL UnifL from leshcatlabs.net
• I have unistalled all my graphics softwares and drivers related to radeon 7400 M.
  
• The Catalyst 15.7 WHQL UnifL contains both intel and radeon drivers. So install intel drivers and reboot.
• install radeon drivers and reboot.

Now my system seems to be perfectly fine and no issues with drivers. Booting normally with out any issues. I turned on windows update and 7400 M drivers automatically installed from Microsoft.

After the reboot again the same problem. Now I am not sure how can I disable to download only 7400 M updates keeping all other updates on.

kindly suggest.
