Windows 10: Graphics driver error AMD

At random intervals, my graphics driver AMD RadeonTM Graphics stops working. Enabling, disabling, uninstalling, reinstalling, checking for updated drivers has not fixed the problem. No option exists to roll back the driver. I have found that the only way to fix it is to uninstall NVIDIA and AMD drivers completely using Display Driver Uninstaller DDU and then reinstall each driver. This issue has reappeared after a windows update.Windows 11 Home version 22H2 22621.2361 Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22674.1000.0Laptop Asus TUF A15 FA506IC AMD Ryzen 7 4800H NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3050.

Windows 10 AMD Driver Error

Hello Curtis,

• Do you also see the error message related to the Graphics card?

I request you to try the following steps:



Uninstall and Reinstall the Graphics Card Drivers.

Step 1: Uninstall the Graphics Card
Drivers

• Press “Windows Logo” + “X” keys on the keyboard.
• Click on “Device Manager” from that list.
• Search for the Graphics Card
  from the device list, right click on it and then select “Uninstall”. On the un-installation window, if you have an option: “Delete the driver software for this device” you may select that and then remove the corrupted drivers
  from the computer.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and then restart the computer if prompted.

After the restart, please go ahead with the next steps to install the latest drivers and check if that resolves the issue.



Update Driver Software from the Manufacturer’s website:



Step 2: Go to the Computer or Graphics Card
manufacturer’s website and search for the latest Windows 10 drivers available for the
Graphics Card model and then install it by following the instructions given in the website.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check, if it helps:

Method 1: I suggest you to update drivers and check if that helps. If that issue persist please uninstall and reinstall latest drivers available in manufacturer website.

• Press “Windows + X” and select Device manger.
• Select Display Adapter and expand the driver icon.
• Right click on the driver icon and click on Update.
• Follow the onscreen instructions to update the driver.

If that issue persist try to install in Compatibility mode

Method 2::Compatibility mode

I would suggest you to install the latest available drivers on manufacturer's website in compatibility mode.

Follow the steps below on how to install driver in compatibility mode:

1. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

2. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.

3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.

5. Let the driver install and then check the functionality.
