    Green arrows on drive icons

When viewing "My PC" from Windows Explorer Win11, one of my drives has a small green arrow icon on it. This does not appear to be the same as the "Shortcut Icon" typically found for a single file or app. I suspect the arrow is there because two of the folders inside that drive have been added to "Quick Access". The strange thing is that when you open that particular drive in Windows Explorer, the two linked folders do not show the arrows which is where one would logically expect to see them. Any ideas what this arrow means?

    :)

  2. Blue Arrows on folder and file icons

Autoruns or ShellExView should tell you which application is adding that Overlay.

  3. NIGHTMARE icon in windows taskbar

Ok ... this is really an annoying thingy in Windows Vista that till today. My top wish list is to solve this !!! *Bang Head :banghead:*Bang Head :banghead:*Bang Head :banghead:*Bang Head :banghead:*Bang Head :banghead:

See attached pic ... for eg. open My Computer ... icon is of course as shown - the My Computer default Vista icon ... after you browse? *swoosh* kind of black magic ... it changes to that icon with the green arrow ... browsing back to My Computer it remains like that ... with the green arrow!!!

This happens to any and all folders ! ... When you load it ... it comes up with the default folder ... after exporing through folder it changes ... and remains like that.

For info : have tried a fresh installation of Vista to make sure that no bug got in. So must be some DAMN Vista settings

Thanks mates ... hope you enjoy this puzzle !

Maybe instead of a full list you could use an expandable tree ?
Kinda like the green arrow icon that we have here @ the Forums index right side to hide the listing of the forums ?

    Or some drop down lists.
