Windows 10: Green progress bar taking time after Windows update December 14, 2021—KB5008212

Today December 15, 2021 Windows updated build December 14, 2021—KB5008212. After that Green progress bar is taking time to show the folder contents. Is there any way if, progress bar could work fast as it did before up date.Any help or suggestions in this regard will be appreciated.Thank you.

Step 1: Delete Cache and Cookie from Internet Explorer.

• 
  Press Windows key + R key, type
  inetcpl.cpl and press Enter key.
  
• 
  Click on Delete.
  
• 
  Check the first four options and click on
  Delete option.
  

Step 2: Run Internet Explorer Performance troubleshooter.

• 
  Type Troubleshooting in the search bar and select
  Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Click on View all in the left panel.
  
• 
  Find and click on Internet Explorer Performance.
  
• 
  Follow the on-screen instructions.

Update downloads progress bar 'stuck' on 4%.

I have a Dell Inspiron. Operating System windows 10.

On 01 December 2015 my updates started downloading. My settings are for automatically download and install updates. There were about 15 updates notified. The progress bar reached 85% but I had to go out and turned off my laptop which prepared my computer
for installing the updates, etcetera.

Next day however, only 5 updates had been installed leaving the following:-

• Upgrade to Windows 10 Home, version 1511, 10586 with a message underneath saying - Waiting for Install.
• The remaining 9 other updates relate to Microsoft Office Suite, for example, Excel, Word etcetera. They all had the same message underneath - Waiting for Download.

The Windows Update page tells me that Updates are Available. Underneath the progress bar it says Downloading updates 4%.

It has displayed this information since 02 December 2015.

This is the first time I have had this problem.

Green progress bar - Working on it - problem when viewing folders

In Windows 10 When I open a folder I first get a blank screen with a green progress bar across the top and the message "Working On It"

I have searched the internet and applied so many suggestions as a fix, but none of them stop the issue.

From what I have seen, this has been a problem for a very long time for many people.

Is there no REAL solution to this MICROSOFT???????
