Windows 10: green spots on my laptop display

Hi everyone,I've owned this laptop for about 11 months now and i recently had this problem when whenever i boot this laptop it starts showing these pixelated lines It also shows on start up and bios pages and it stays for about half an hour and disappears from itself. If i never close the lid, i never face this issue but whenever i move and leave the laptop and come back later to open the lid it appears again and so on and so forthI had it checked by a local warranty center and they told me it's a software problem and they had to install a clean version of windowsand for now i don't face t

Confusing statement! You want to change the display on your laptop that died?

Is that correct?

How do you know its the display that's bad?

Just google "how to change display on a acer 5745"

Should get you to step by step instructions. But first make sure its the display that's bad

 

Laptop display does not detect itself

In regards to your concern, since the second screen can't detect the display settings of your other laptop, we suggest that you perform the steps below and see if it helps:

• Go to Settings.
• Click on System.
• Under System, choose Display.
• Under Multiple displays, click on Duplicate these displays and apply.

green tint

My screen is displaying a green tint. I swapped out the wire, still having the same issue. I followed multiple suggested steps I found in a similar forum. I even tried a few youtube videos. I don't know what to do. The computer functions normal, it just
has an awful green tint. Any suggestions?
