Windows 10: Green status bar crawling across file explorer menu address bar forever when trying to...

Used to have no problem with opening up File Explorer and accessing photos on my Android phone. I hook up the phone, go into USB and File Transfer and my drive on the phone shows up in File Explorer. I go into DCIM/Camera and see my photos. However, now, the green status bar goes on forever and I can't wave or salute. I can't do anything with the photos like import them over or copy them into a folder on my desktop. Half the thumbnails don't show, either, just an icon. This just started recently, in the past had absolutely no problem copying or importing photos.. MTP driver is at latest versio

But the green status bar indicator is still visible/active.

Im absolutely sure that I have no connection to "windowsphone" nor I own such a phone nor I'm a member and I have never wrote there a question. They even use my WTen-Username!

I think I have found the reason for my indicator problem:



One of my file explorer context menu entries is called "Immer Offline verfügbar" (always available offline). It seems that I clicked it by accident.

After DEACTIVATING offline files, the icon and the "status online" text are no more visible in the file explorer.

I have inadvertently activated this green "Status online" icon in the Windows 10 20H2 file explorer status bar.
This icon appears only for one Synology NAS directory.





I don't need any online indicator or functionality.

Where can I disable/stop this function?

Unfortunately, this did not solve the problem. I still get the green bar scrolling across the windows explorer address bar and "working on it..." in the main window. So I cannot access any of my files or any places on my PC at the moment.

Interestingly, I can for example open files by opening an application e.g. word/adobe reader etc. and also if I navigate to the downloads section of firefox, choose a download and click 'navigate to containing folder' I then get a working version of windows
explorer.

But opening windows explorer directly just leads to this scrolling green bar. Any suggestions much appreciated!
