    Green tick marks - no one it seems can provide an answer


    The green check mark on desktop folders issue has been plaguing windows users for over a decade and, like whether fat or carbs cause heart disease, no one knows the definitive answer. No refresh does not work, no I do not have Norton, no I do not want to stop syncing One Drive, no I do not want to uninstall one Drive. Yes, I do want to get rid of them.

    You cannot see that in the list, you need to click into the thread and the one(s) with the green header are the one(s) that were marked as answer

    OneDrive Personal Missing 'Green Ticks'

    Since the 12 July 2017 Windows 10 update the green ticks in the Onedrive Personal folder are missing while the Onedrive Business folder has the green ticks. I have tried the fixes in the community forum, I have tried unlinking and relinking the account.
    I have run a sfc. I applied the restore point from before the update. None of these have fixed the problem.

    I have the same problem on both my PCs since the windows update.

    MS AnswerDesk also tried all the fixes suggest in the community. They also did a Windows Refresh which did not fix the problem. They gave up.

    Any suggestions?

    Anyone Know what these Green ticks are? It's not the first time I've seen them they stay for hours and then go away eventually. Thank you in advance.
