    Grey crosses on document icons


    Hi everyone! Today I wanted to open some old files on my previous laptop. All the files I need seem to have a grey cross on the document icons as you can see on the screenshot. I can not open the files, copy them or send them to another device with WeTransfer. Does anyone know how I can open the files again? Kind regards

    Windows 10 Grey Cross on Icons

    Hi All

    I have a new Thinkpad running Win10 Home (v1709, build 16299.309) and I've suddenly got grey crosses (x) in the bottom left corner of icons and shortcuts on my desktop.

    This appears to be a known problem with Windows but I've not found any recent advice for Win 10 users. Can anyone help?

    white cross in red circle icon for OneDrive folders


    I am successfully using OneDrive on two Win10 machines. I am trying to use it on my Tablet (ASUS). The folders I set up and their content have a white cross 'X' in a red circle icon. I can open the documents and pictures but the option to get a OneDrive Link for sharing is greyed out and is not available. I tried deleting the folders and recreating them, same problem. Ay suggestions please? I don't want to use the sync feature, just the ability to copy/paste only the items I want to save on OneDrive. Thanks...Raj
