Windows 10: Grey Rectangle in Top Left Corner of Desktop

I have this weird grey box in the top left of my desktop, I have seen other people who have had this problem and was wondering if I could get an answer. Here's a screenshot:Here's some things I know about it:-It does not appear on startup-When it does appear all desktop icons disappear-When I double click it my icons reappear-I can temporarily remove it by restarting Windows Explorer by using Task ManagerHere's some things I have already tried:-Restarting graphics drivers-Disabling touch screen drivers recommended on a different forum-Disabling Windows TipsI would really appreciate any help

how do i get rid of a small grey rectangle in my top left corner?

Theres a small grey rectangle at the top left hand corner of my screen and i cant interact with it or get rid of it. The only thing i can do with it is change my wallpaper but then it flashes once. So it disappears for a second then comes back. How do i
get rid of it?

I forgot to tell you but sometimes my apps are gone and theres a second grey rectangle that i can move but when i double click it my apps are there again. Sorry i cant get a screen shot of that situation but that doesn't happen anymore. When i double click
the second rectangle the picture you see above this reply is what happens next and just stays like that.

 

Desktop Icons hidden on startup & Small grey box in top left corner of screen

On start-up my windows PC has all the desktop icons hidden and there is a small grey box in the top left corner of the screen, the icons reappear when I double click this box, here is an after picture.





Any ideas on how I can fix this?
