Windows 10: Groove and Album details..

- anybody know how I can force Groove to accept a particular picture for an album cover?

- there is actually a picture included in the music folder, but Groove hasn't picked it up, and a search
from within the Groove app itself for the album details, yields only the song-list and not the album cover..(??) *Confused

access music as a detailed file

Since installing Windows 10 I can no longer access my music files easily as a detailed file,

they automatically come up on the Groove music album covers and all.

1 If I uninstall Groove Music will it leave my music files as in my hard drive as the were in Windows 7?.

2 Is there a way of bringing up the detailed file without uninstalling Groove Music.

 

Groove busts up some albums

Some of the albums that I copy to the Music folder on the SD card of my Lumia 640 become fragmented. I have Windows 10 build 10.0.10536.318 installed. Groove recognizes the album but takes the first two or three songs out and puts them into another "Unknown
Album". All of the albums are in MP3 256 format. I detail the music track files on the master and after it has been copied to the phone and I can't see any reason for Groove to do this. Any suggestions?

 

Bring up an album in Groove, click on 'More...', then click on 'Get album info'.

yes, I've tried that already..
that's what the problem is..

the picture is in the music file, but doesn't show up in Groove
even after I've requested the album info using the method you describe..
