Windows 10: groove music changes the lock screen even though music isn't playing and 'show now playing...

I recently used the 'fresh start' feature to reinstall windows 10 on my laptop. After the reinstall, the lock screen displayed an artist from my groove music library as if I was listening to music, even though I hadn't even opened groove music, much less played any music. I went into groove and turned off the 'show now playing artist on lock screen' off and it still acted as though I was listening to music. I have restarted my laptop many times and I can't figure out how to fix my wallpaper. Does anyone know what the heck is happening.

Groove Music stops when the screen goes off and the playing song ends


It may be silly me, but when the Groove Music plays a playing list and the screen goes off, after the end of the current song it stops.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there some setting about this? Is there any player that would keep on playing even with the screen off?
