    Groove Music is not playing, Nor Syncing OneDrive Music files


    Groove music all of a sudden stopped playing music yesterday that i have stored in the Music Folder of my OneDrive. So i used Powershell to uninstall Groove Music from my laptop, then reinstalled from the Microsoft Store on Windows 10, and now the OneDrive music won't even sync down to Groove Music on Windows 10.

    I have looked at the Feedback Hub and saw that others have been having this issue since two days ago (4/1/2019). Is there some sort of matinence going on with Onedrive/Groove?

    Hi Alan,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

    Sorry to know that you are unable to sync Onedrive music folder with Groove Music app and Groove Music Web Player. I will certainly help you.

    I recommend you to add the Onedrive music files to Music folder (Navigate to
    This PC     > Music) on the PC and then launch the
    Groove Music Web Player, check if it lists the songs.

    If the issue persists, I suggest you to move the Folder from the location to the
    Default Library Music folder and check if the Groove app
    syncs them.

    Groove Music not syncing with OneDrive

    The Groove Music app on windows 10 is refusing to sync with my OneDrive. I've put my music in the 'Music' folder, tried to add it to the sync list(which didn't work either, I'm unable to add folders to it) but nothing works. I have reinstalled groove,
    logged out, logged in, renamed the folder and files, deleted the folder and created it again and nothing is working.

    My Groove music suddenly stopped playing files when I doubleclick on them (groove music launches but is blank). I can use a different player but I have to click into that player as Groove Music is my default. I am reorganizing all of my music (tens of thousands of files) and this won't work for me.
    Any suggestions?
    I have Windows 10 on a PC.
    I found an online troubleshooting that suggesting I delete temporary files and reset Internet explorer which I did and which has not helped.
