Windows 10: Groove Music Tile refusing to update

It downloads, but it just fails to install. This has been going on for about 3 weeks now. It still runs, but it simply won't update. Do I have to remove it completely and re-install it?

Can't launch Groove Music, instant app crash

Ever since the app update of Groove Music last week on my Lumia 950 dual SIM (unlocked, default OS, No Insider Updates)) with 128GB microSD card to hold the music I am unable to launch the Groove Music app.

I've tried clearing the card of all content, clearing the internal storage of all music content, repeatedly rebooting (no hard reset, PLEASE don't tell me that's the only answer).

I press on the tile and the screen briefly changes then back to the start screen, that's all that happens. Pinned tile or full app list makes no difference, and you can't uninstall/re-install the Groove Music app.

Unable to open Groove music

Hi,

I ran the app troubleshooter. It cannot find any problems.

Groove Music still reports as already being installed in the Windows Store.
