Windows 10: Groove Music time slider missing, after update, I believe.

Hi, I've attached a screen shot of a feature that has suddenly gone missing from Groove Music.

It's the time slider part of the interface.

I think it went missing after an update.

Any help would be great.

Groove Music App crashes after few seconds, when started

Lucas, hello!

I have exactly followed your suggestions of how to fix Groove Music, but at my side the problem is fixed only partially.

1.) I have Reset Groove Music App.

2.) I have disabled Media Info button (Automatically retrieve and update missing album art and metadata). After I did that, Groove Music wasn't crashing anymore.

3.) I have deleted Music Library content on my computer via "Choose where we look for music", restarted Groove Music App, and re-installed the Library to it's normal state.

4.) I have turned Media Info button ON again.

Unfortunately, Groove Music is crashing as before. Only if I turn Media Info button to OFF and leave it so, Groove Music is not crashing, but of course, on this way missing album arts and metadatas are not updated.

Now we are a bit closer to the solution. Crashing of Groove Music App on my computer is caused by Groove Music Media Info updater.

Is there anything else I could try? For any further suggestions I would be very grateful?

 

album art and music file info (meta data) of music files downloaded from mix radio are missing in groove music

I recently updated my lumia to windows 10 mobile and the old music player got updated to groove music, since then the music files i had downloaded from mix radio which were working perfect with all music info and album art(metadata) in lumia's old music
player are now missing in 'groove music' ...Now All music files downloaded from mix radio are listed in groove music as 'Unknown Albums'. Kindly help

 

The slider shows on Groove on my devices.

 

Try reseting Groove in the apps and programs setting area.

 

Still there on mine too
