Windows 10: groove music won't do album artwork slideshow

In July of 2020 when listening to songs I had bought on itunes through the groove music player I discovered that, when you went full screen, it wouldn't just display a single image of the album cover, it would actually cycle through various album artwork images, giving a slideshow for every song that was tagged and had the metadata. I have no idea whether groove music added the artwork itself or it was included in the song data when I bought them on itunes, but it had lots of artwork to cycle through.however, today I've tried the same exact songs from the same exact library I believe, and, i

Album Artwork and Artist Artwork in Groove Music

Groove Music doesn't recognize some of the music I've uploaded from OneDrive and hasn't given it the appropriate album artwork or artist artwork. Most of these are well known artists and albums which are in the Windows Store (i.e. Dean Martin, Adele, etc.)
so I'm not sure why it isn't recognizing them. I've also made sure the genre, year, etc all match the information in the Store app but Groove still doesn't recognize...

Is there a way to manually add album artwork in Groove?

Is there a way to make album artwork appear on the Windows phone lock screen when music is being played through Groove? Similar to the way it looks when playing music on an iPhone.

 

How to add album art in groove music

With WMP I think you have to copy & paste the album artwork. I know it’s a nightmare to do compared to Groove.
Is Groove up to date?
Is the album part of a playlist? Is Correlations a playlist or the album name?
