Windows 10: Group me right click share ability

I used to be able to right click a photo on my pc and send to a group me group. I have Group me installed on pc and phone. When I try the app does not show up on my pc so I can not click the link to send the photo.I have restarted my computer.

Did you try the 'view or print the Home Group password' under control Panel > Home Group?

This would give you an even more clear idea of the missing link in here (which is the password).

If all the above is too confusing to follow, because the home group was not set up by you, it is recommended to create a new one.

Follow the below mentioned steps to setup HomeGroup in Windows 10.

• 
  Right-click on Start and select
  Control Panel from the context menu.
  

• 
  Select
  Network and Sharing center option, then click on the
  Home Group at the bottom left fringe on the Network and Sharing Center window.
  

• 
  Click
  Create a home group button. You see the list of files and devices that you would like to share within the Home Group.
  
• 
  On the drop down menu beside every item set the
  level of permission of each item, then click Next once you are done.
  

• 
  You will be taken to the next step where you can see an
  auto-generated password. If the computer need to participate in the Home Group then they require this password for authentication. You can also modify the password later. Tap the
  Finish button.
  

Now join other PC into this Home Group, which you think should participate in the Home Group activities.

Windows 10 Home group print sharing

1) Did you try to share the Printers? If yes, do you get any error message/code?

2) What is the make and model of your Printer?

I suggest you to check the user manual of the printer to know more about sharing. You can also refer to the steps given in the link below to know more about sharing. The article given below is for Windows 8.1 but the steps are same for Windows 10.

I would suggest you to disconnect the home group and reconnect.

Please try the below method to fix the issue.

Method 1: Run the
Home group troubleshooter

• Press Windows + X keys on the keyboard and select
  Control Panel
• Type Troubleshooting in the search bar on the
  Control Panel.
• Click on View all on the left navigation pane. Click on
  Home group.
• Click on Advanced on the Home group troubleshooter dialog box and click on
  Run as administrator (Enter the credentials if required).
• Click on Next and follow onscreen instruction complete the
  Home group troubleshooter.

Windows 10 Home group print sharing

Rakesh,

the shared printer works on all Desktops on Home Group without password, but when I log on the desktop using a Microsoft Account, I need to provide user and pass to access the share.

The problem only happend when I use Microsoft Account on Windows 10. Other scenarios work fine.
