Windows 10: GroupMe does not send me the reset for my password.

I have been in a never ending loop. How can I get the app to actually send me the reset email? Yes, I checked my spam folder. I even tried to create a new account so I could make sure I am using the correct email address. Sure enough the email is correct, but I never receive the reset email.Why doesn't GroupMe show up in the menus at the bottom of this post. I just chose Windows/Apps/Outlook Mail

There is a GroupMe account with my daughter's phone number but someone else's email. She cannot receive the reset emails so how can she create her own account?

Remember, it’s important to keep your personal information secure. In the future, consider enabling two-step verification for added security. This will require re-verification of the phone number each time two-step verification is turned off or on again.
