    Grub rescue error message on windows laptop


    I’m trying to fix my windows laptop, following a couple of different sets of instructions. I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong, but this is what I’ve ended up with:

    My laptop is already in off condition, I'm not able to do the first step itself. As soon as I turn on the laptop, grub rescue command appears. What to do in this situation?

    i have a laptop suppied by tamil nadu govt. i deleted the linux partition now when I start the laptop i get the following message, "error: no such partition , grub rescue "

    pls help me rectify the problem. i was having windows 10

    Grub rescue

    I was using windows 8 in my laptop initially,but after installation of ubuntu along side windows ,my laptop was not charging.So I deleted the ubuntu partition...

    Now when I restart my lap top it shows "error: no such partition.Entering rescue mode...grub rescue>"..I want to use my laptop with windows 8 only.

    What should I do now..??

    Plz help..
