Windows 10: GSOD - Green Screen of Death with Windows 10 Insider Preview Version 1803 Build 17962.1004...

I've been experiencing consistent GSOD when opening Microsoft Outlook since Windows 10 Insider 17692.1004 was installed in July 3. The minidump file indicates the following:

Loading symbols for fffff802`038d0000 fwpkclnt.sys -> fwpkclnt.sys
Loading symbols for fffff802`03980000 mfewfpk.sys -> mfewfpk.sys

*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for mfewfpk.sys
Loading symbols for fffff9dd`8e4d0000 win32k.sys -> win32k.sys
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for win32k.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for win32k.sys
Probably caused by : memory_corruption


I know that mfewfpk.sys is a McAfee module. And, I know that there is a McAfee add-in in Outlook. But, I can't keep Outlook open long enough to disable the add-in. The crash also takes place when in start Outlook in safe mode.

Again, this crash only happens when I open Microsoft Outlook.


Any suggestions to solve?

Microsoft Introduces Green Screen of Death Exclusively for Windows Insiders

Especially for those of us that troubleshoot BSOD events and analyze DMP files from others' computers the "Green" screen will be a big help. First and foremost a user's description of their problem will most often alert us
that the issue is on an Insider Build. Such knowledge will require us to look father into a Windows related cause before that of drivers even if a driver is indicated in the analysis. Meaning the build could be making stable drivers seem faulty though the
actuality is the other way around.

Insider Preview 17074 Build GSOD

The latest release preview insider build version 17074 is NOT working for me. After installing it, I get the PROCESS1 INITIALIZATION FAILED GSOD 10 out 10 times. This is with a Core i9 7900X CPU based system. Disappointing.

"Windows’ infamous Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) is turning a shade of green for Windows 10 testers soon. A leaked preview build of Windows 10 (build 14997) emerged on the internet earlier this week, and it includes a number of new features and changes. One of the biggest is a Green Screen of Death instead of the regular BSOD. Microsoft employee Matthijs Hoekstra teased the change on Twitter, and MSPoweruser reports that it was eventually discovered by Twitter user Chris123NT.

It’s not clear why Microsoft has picked green over blue for its Windows 10 Insider builds, but Hoekstra confirms this new color scheme is only for preview participants. It’s likely that Microsoft wants to distinguish between genuine BSOD issues and problems and crashes that are more likely to occur during the testing of Windows 10 builds. A number of Windows 10 preview users publish issues like BSODs publicly on blogs or social networks, and turning the color green will help Microsoft identify them during the test phase. Microsoft last updated the BSOD with QR codes, years after adding a frowning face for Windows 8.

Microsoft has put its public testing of Windows 10 on hold for the festive period, and the company isn’t planning to introduce any new builds until next month. The leaked 14997 build also includes options to enable Cortana during the initial PC setup phase, a F.lux-like blue light reduction feature, traces of an Xbox Game Mode, Microsoft Edge tab improvements, and app folders for the Start Menu."
